site set to "download only" mode again

The site set to "download only" mode again

downloads are working, but no uploads,browsing,searching etc

Unfortunatelly solid state disks have proven to be extremely unreliable (while they are fast, the issues they raise are unnaceptable)

the site will be back once a few issues caused by the above are fixed

extremely sorry for this, but downloads are working so i suppose thats 99% of the users happy being able to download

ill keep this updated as the work progresses

update: all back to normal, appologies for this

site "read only" mode for few hours

The site is in "read only" mode for few hours, ie. only downloads are allowed

uploads, browsing, searching is disabled

there are some issues with the database that are being worked on

ill update this once all is back to normal

update 1: the site will remain download only for another 24 hours, appologies

update 2: all back to normal, some users might still be hitting the "download only" front server while the DNS changes propagate

update 3: have to revert back to "download only" mode while SSD harddrive firmware is updated on the main server, sorry

update 4: back to business as usual
